Cattle Drives
Kick up your heels, or just kick back on this half-day, high mountain ranch experience. Greet the morning with fresh brewed coffee. Meet your wrangler and horse, saddle up and head out to find those little doggies and round ‘em up. A short ride will take you back a hundred years to the peaceful, romantic times of cowboys and mountain men. We are surrounded by hillsides filled with sagebrush and mountain flowers, mesa trails where the Utes once spread their camps, open pastures along the creek, beaver ponds and majestic views! Finding those little doggies is the easy part; the challenge comes with driving them back to the homestead. After exporing the ranch, sit back and relax on the Nelson Cabin porch for a delicious lunch from the good Grub Grill. After lunch, visit the trading post, pitch some horseshoes or rope a steer head. Children must be at least 12 years old.
