The Avon Recreation Center has various drop-in movie nights. In summer, there is a series of films lakeside at Nottingham Lake when darkness falls. In early April, the annual Vail Film Festival is held in Vail and brings the newest independent films. In the fall, Beaver Creek hosts a series of film nights sponsored by the Vail Symposium. Riverwalk in Edwards and Capitol Theatre in Eagle have four screens showing recent releases.
