You must be 21 years of age or older to purchase alcohol in Colorado. Keep in mind that local supermarkets do sell beer but it contains less alcohol than beer you buy in the liquor store. Beer in the grocery store is 3.2% alcohol and beer in the liquor store is usually around 5%. Liquor stores offer beer, wine and liquor and are now open seven days a week including Sundays. Pedestrian-friendly areas for shopping can be found in Vail Village, LionsHead, Minturn, Avon, Beaver Creek, Traer Creek, Edwards and Eagle.
