Enjoy a 1.5 hour horseback ride through the snow while taking in breathtaking views of the Squaw Creek Valley, New York Mountain Range, and of course wildlife! Our friendly wranglers will pick out a horse that is right for your age and ability. After a quick demonstration, it's off we go. Bring your camera, because you will not want to miss all the exciting things we see on the trail. For hundreds of years the Cordillera Valley has been host to hundreds of Elk and Mule Deer migrations. In the winter months these animals make their way down from the New York Mountain Range to call Cordillera home. Because of the large amounts of open space left preserved, these creatures are still here today and are easily visible. Upon return you are invited to step inside our historic cabin and warm up with a hot drink.
