Visit the Frontier Historical Museum, dine at a local establishment for lunch, and take the short hike up to Lynwood Cemetery and pay your last respects to Glenwood's favorite gunslinger, Doc Holliday.

Imagine a town with miners, gamblers, gunslingers, hotels, shops and saloons. The majestic Hotel Glenwood was a grand hotel at the corner of 8th and Grand Ave in 1884. The hotel burned down in December, 1945. The First Presbyterian Church was built in 1885 on Cooper Ave and is still being used today. In 1890 the Stone Bathhouse at the Hot Springs Pool was completed.
