Join Walking Mountains Science Center to learn about high-alpine ecology and animal adaptations as you gaze at majestic mountain views. Appropriate for most ages and abilities. Located at the top of the Lionshead Gondola, FREE.

Daily Tues-Sat 11am-7pm; Sun-Mon 11am-4pm. Walking Mountains Science Center naturalists will help you explore an array of natural history exhibits and specimen related to Vail Mountain wildlife and ecology. Request a short interpretive ske-cology lesson, many topics are available. The mountaintop nature center is open during the winter season and is accessible via the Eagle Bahn Gondola from Lionshead. All ages, FREE.

Stop by to learn about natural winter wonders on top Vail Mountain in our newly remodeled nature center. All programs are provided courtesy of Discovery Center Partners: Vail Resorts, U.S. Forest Service, and Walking Mountains Science Center.
