See the majesty of the Rockies from horseback.

All rides depart the stable at 8,000 feet on the side of the ski mountain in Beaver Creek Resort and gradually wind their way up to over 9,000 feet in elevation where the scenery is fantastic and the views unlimited. There is a scenic one-hour ride and a spectacular two-hour ride through the White River National Forest. Also, you can choose a three-hour picnic ride with gourmet lunch or a half-day ride to Beaver Lake with lunch and an opportunity to hike to a waterfall or fish. Beaver Creek Stables is an equal opportunity service provider. Under special use permit by the White River National Forest.

Beaver Creek Lake Ride: The most celebrated and popular ride, an extraordinary way to experience the Colorado Rockies on your vacation in the Vail Valley. Ride goes to Beaver Creek Lake, a full-day ride with amazing and incomparable views. You'll follow the Beaver Creek all the way to the Lake. After this 1 and a half hour ride, you can relax as experienced wranglers provide you with a delicious catered lunch. Have time to experience the beauty and peacefulness of mountain life before riding for an hour back to the stables. Reservations required 24 hours in advance, includes lunch.

Beano's Cabin Dinner Ride: Evening horseback rides to Beano's Cabin on Beaver Creek Mountain are one of the most unique and memorable dining experiences in Colorado, a feast for the senses. This is not just a dining experience like no other, but a way to experience spectacular Beaver Creek mountain with a horseback ride through what was once ranch land and is now national forest and a world-renowned ski area. Enjoy fantastic, luxurious dining after your horseback ride at one of Vail and Beaver Creek's finest, on-mountain restaurants along Larkspur ski run.

Three Hour Picnic Ride: This ride is one of the most unique outdoor experiences offered in the Vail Valley. You'll be taken to the top of Beaver Creek Mountain and enjoy a catered deli lunch in a quiet meadow where birds and regional flora abound. Explore (carefully and respectfully) places in the Colorado Rockies in a setting unreachable by foot. Feel nature's splendor as you ride through creeks, aspen groves, sage hillsides and pine forests. Reservations required 24 hours in advance, includes lunch.

Two Hour Horseback Ride: The two hour horseback ride takes you full circle to the eastern hillside of Beaver Creek Mountain and back. At the top of the ridge, riders enjoy breathtaking views of the Gore Range, Vail Mountain's back bowls, and Beaver Creek Mountain. You'll experience on of the most glorious natural environments in Colorado.

One Hour Horseback Ride: If you are looking for a quiet, relaxing, outdoor activity but don't have a lot of time, the signature One Hour ride is for you! You'll have some of the same amazing outdoor experiences as our two and three hour rides and still make it to lunch or dinner at your favorite restaurant in Vail or Beaver Creek. Available at Beaver Creek or Piney River Ranch. Reservations recommended.

Horseback Riding Lessons: If you would like to hone up on your horseback riding skills, we offer lessons for beginner to intermediate riders. We strive to make every rider's experience fun and enjoyable while achieving their own personal horsemanship goals, whatever they may be. Available at Beaver Creek or Piney River Ranch. Reservations recommended.

Horsemanship Program: A fun-filled experience for kids ages 7+, Beaver Creek Stables offers a unique three-day horsemanship program (camp) with each day including a riding lesson, a trail ride, education on grooming, tacking, safety and other information and instruction on horses.
