We thrive on good-natured competition, and we have had decades of proven experience providing opportunities to athletes of all caliber for the best races, leagues, tournaments or drop-in nights. Our trail running series, named best running series by Colorado Magazine in 2005 and 2008, attracts the region�s finest athletes and has been used as a qualifier for the U.S. Mountain Running Team more often than any other in the U.S. Our Wednesday night mountain bike series draws an average 200 racers ranging in age from eight to 60+ and frequently includes some of the best professional racers around. In spring, summer and fall, our playing fields are ideal backdrops for youth and adult leagues and sports camps. From softball to soccer, lacrosse to volleyball, Vail Recreation District strives to provide the highest quality instruction and most well-run competitions you�ll find anywhere. Enjoy drop-in basketball, soccer & volleyball at Red Sandstone elementary School gym or participate in one of our many adult leagues.
