Vail Stables

A family-run stable in the beautiful White River National Forest.

Guides lead mounted adventurers through sage meadows and up to a scenic lookout at 8,900 feet above sea level, with views of the town of Vail, the Gore Range, Vail Mountain, and the Vail Valley. Giddy-up through a majestic forest and meander through an aspen glade, keeping eyes peeled for signs of deer and elk. Before arriving back at the ranch, trot pass a Cow Camp with an excellent photo opportunity of a rustic Colorado shack from a bygone era, enhanced with the faintest chorus of ghostly moos.
