The Beaver Creek Hiking Center offers nature hikes for all ages and ability levels with expert local guides. From a gentle stroll on Beaver Creek Mountain, to summiting one of Colorados famous 14,000-foot peaks, the Hiking Center offers something for everyone. Experience the mountains in a whole new light, the Beaver Creek hiking center specializes in guided interpretive nature hikes and mountain bike tours. In addition, weekly scheduled hikes as well as customized private hikes are available for all ages and desires. Whether hiking Beaver Creek Mountain, to a pristine high alpine lake, through a field of wildflowers or summiting one of Colorado’s coveted 14,000ft peaks, the hiking center offers something for everyone. We offer family friendly hikes as well!
Permitted through the USFS, the hiking center offers hikes in the Eagles nest, Holy Cross and Collegiate peaks wilderness areas within the White River and San Isabel national forests. From East Vail to Buena Vista the options are endless.
Located: Inside the Summer Adventure Center on the Starbucks plaza level in Beaver Creek Village Open: Daily, June 9 through Sept 3, 2012 / Weekends Only and by Reservation, Sept 8 through Sept 29 Hours: 9:00am-4:00pm
All hikes and tours include transportation, a professional guide, and the use of Salomon packs and boots, Leki hiking poles, rain gear, bottled water, Gatorade and Nature Valley granola bars. Picnic lunches available upon request. Additional hiking equipment, including child-carrying backpacks, are available to rent.
Our professional guides are trained in first aid, CPR, flora, fauna, local history and geology. With years of combined hiking experience on staff, we share a passion and appreciation for the beauty of the Colorado Rockies. |
